A few weeks ago my wonderful husband said to me, "Would you like me to build you a few shelves so you have more storage space? You know, we could utilize our closets better if I put a few in." To which I replied, "That would be wonderful." Here is the before and after pictures. I'll post another picture when they are being utilized, soon I hope!

What did he do to the wood? It's not exactly clear. It looks like he treated it or painted it or something.
